Charlie then decided to join the Marine Corps. In June 2006 as an infantryman and left for recruit training in October of the same year. While in the Marines he did 2 tours overseas 1 to Iraq and 1 to Afghanistan. In 2008 while deployed to Iraq is when he found Crossfit. While on deployment he and his team followed the main site and did the WOD everyday. That’s when it all started.
